La escuela mexicana entra en crisis en los años 50, México vive el arte de vanguardia, se dice que la pintura mural es de vanguardia.

Las pinturas en fresco eran para iglesias e instituciones públicas, la idea era crear una pintura fuera de la galería, abierta que refleja la cultura popular teniendo un formato monumental pretendiendo ser una pintura de tiempo presente.

Acerca al pueblo al arte, el muralismo renace en la pintura graffitti en los Estados Unidos donde hay presencia mexicana en especial los Angeles y Chicago.

Para un público no entrenado para el consumo de arte de elite.

ANDREA DI CASTRO

Es considerado el primer artista multimedia en México, para Di Castro la computadora es un laboratorio de expresión, sensaciones,  posiciones frente a la vida y el arte, para crear y transformar. 

Arte tecnológico, sistema nacional de creadores, promotor de la televisión cultural, trabajo fotográfico exquisito. Difunde la cultura mexicana dentro y fuera de México.

JULIO RUELAS

Inaugura el modernismo mexicano, campeón de la cultura modernista, pintor zacatecano.

“GRABADOS DE RUELAS”

Dibujante simbólico, pretende hacer imágenes cargadas de simbolismo, se encuentra azotado por la mala situación con mujeres, desquitándose con dibujos de mujeres fatales.
